Ozaukee County News

There were 12,422 students enrolled in Ozaukee County schools in the 2024-25 school year, 0.5% more than the previous school year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Data also showed that white students comprised 81.9% of the student body in Ozaukee County schools—the largest share—followed by Hispanic students at 6.3%, multiracial students at 4.9%, and Asian students at 3.5%.

Homestead High School had the highest enrollment among Ozaukee County’s 27 schools in the 2024-25 school year, welcoming 1,204 students.

Wisconsin ranked 29th in the U.S. for student-to-teacher ratio at 14:1, according to a study by AAA State of Play.
