Description:
Newcastle Place is so very proud to be hosting our first Golf to End Alzheimer’s with all proceeds going to the Alzheimer’s Association of Southeast Wisconsin. Newcastle has been a long-term supporter and partner of the Alzheimer’s Association raising annual funds and participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s here in Ozaukee county each fall. Everyday our community serves seniors who are either living with or who are caregivers of someone living with Alzheimer’s or another forms of Dementia. Our WHY for this event has so many facets but here is why we want to invite you to join us in our mission on Monday, September 26: Empower our residents by supporting their abilities. Navigate side-by-side with caregivers regarding safety, care options, financial and legal planning, stages and behaviors. Develop core relationships with local businesses, and care partners to work together to promote awareness. Advocate, on behalf of those affected who are unable to make their needs known. We fight to change the trajectory of this disease. Lead the way by providing resources and promoting educational opportunities for caregivers, family and friends. Zap away the negative stigma associated with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. We hope you will join us in this fight. We welcome all your support!
