City Of Mequon issued the following announcement on Feb 25.
Construction is ramping up next week in Mequon, as four roads are scheduled to close. Highland Road, between County W (Port Washington Road) and Lake Shore Drive will close on Monday, February 28, and reopen during Fall 2022. Motorists are encouraged to use County W (Port Washington Road), County C (Pioneer Road), and Lake Shore Drive to get around the closure. Work near the County Line Road/Port Washington Road interchange is also beginning the week of February 28. Donges Bay Road, between County W (Port Washington Road) and the Union Pacific Railroad, is scheduled to close through late summer 2022 for bridge reconstruction. Port Washington Road (County W), between County Line Road and Port Washington Lane, is scheduled to close through late fall 2022. In addition, Fiesta Lane, west of Port Washington Lane, is scheduled to close for approximately three weeks for temporary widening at Port Washington Lane.
