Volunteer Tree Planting Event on November 9

City Of Port Washington issued the following announcement on Oct. 30

The City of Port Washington has received grant funding from Sustain Our Great Lakes to plant 100 trees at the new Larabee Street Flood Retention Project Site, accessed off of the west end of Larabee Street.

Please join the City of Port Washington, the Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership (LNRP), and Stantec to help plant trees and restore this urban greenspace.

Tuesday, November 9th, 2021

10 am – Noon 

Meet at the west end of Larabee Street.

Please bring your own pair of gloves and water bottle.  Shovels and other tools will be provided by the City of Port Washington.
