City of Lake recently issued the following announcement.
Members of the Lake Geneva Library Board and Lake Geneva City Council, may be attending the Visit Lake Geneva Annual Dinner and Impact Awards. This event will be taking place: - Wednesday, October 20 - 5:00 pm at the Abbey Resort, 629 Fontana Blvd, Fontana WI 53125 Although this meeting is not an official meeting of the Lake Geneva Public Library Board or Common Council, it is anticipated that some library board members and Alderpersons will attend the event.
The purpose of this notice is to comply with the Wisconsin Open Meetings Law, which requires that public notice be given when members of a governmental body will gather to receive information on matters that may fall within the scope of the governmental body’s governing authority.
