City Of Mequon issued the following announcement on Sept. 10

Meet Officer Bottoni and Officer Djuke on September 23

The Mequon-Thiensville Recreation Department is offering a free program on Thursday, September 23 from 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. at the Range Line Community Center to meet Officer Bottoni and Officer Djuke from the Mequon Police Department.  Officer Djuke is the department’s new K-9 officer and is certified in tracking, narcotics detection, handler protection, apprehension, and building/area searches.  Come and see Officer Bottoni and Officer Djuke as they show and explain some of their duties.  Register to attend by September 16.
